All about the product

What are the causes and symptoms of plantar pain and calluses?

Metatarsalgia, commonly known as plantar pain, is most often a problem of poor support. To compensate for poor pressure on the ground, the foot reacts by increasing the rate of cell renewal. Horn is then created to increase the interface between the ground and the bones of the forefoot, redistributing the pressure over a larger surface area. These areas of hyperkeratosis, known as calluses, can be very painful when walking.

How can I soothe the pain of a callus?

If the pain is chronic or permanent, we recommend using the PODERM® protective pad in closed shoes. Podiatrists can also remove calluses in the clinic.

When should PODERM® Plantar Pain and Corn Protection be used?

The symptoms are recent. It is essential to protect the metatarsal pallet (the bones under the forefoot) from pressure and rubbing by using comfortable, thin, lightweight protection.

What is so special about PODERM® protection?

The active ingredients diffuse under pressure in the shoe for 4 weeks
