All about the product

How can you recognise irritated, sensitive feet?

Unlike a dry foot, whose skin is thick and hard, an irritated and sensitive foot has very thin skin, prone to redness and flaking. It's fragile skin that causes discomfort such as itching and tightness.

Why is the serum green?

The serum is 100% natural, with no fragrance or colouring. Its green colour and vegetal fragrance are due to the presence of Calophylla oil. This oil repairs the damaged hydrolipidic film thanks to its high fatty acid content (30 to 40% omega 9 and 25 to 40% omega 6) and provides suppleness and elasticity to the skin, thanks to the vitamin E it naturally contains.

Is tea tree essential oil irritating?

Tea tree oil is non-irritating when mixed with a vegetable oil in an appropriate ratio, as is the case with Poderm® Irritated and Sensitive Feet Serum. It is compatible with particularly sensitive skin and may even be beneficial, according to several studies.

How can I protect my feet from irritation?

A few simple tips for looking after feet prone to irritation:

  • Wear cotton socks.
  • Wear shoes that fit your feet: neither too tight nor too small.
  • Use gentle products for washing and to moisturise and nourish the skin.
  • Limit the use of irritating accessories such as rasps.

How long should I use PODERM® Irritated and Sensitive Feet Serum?

The serum starts to work from the first day of use. We recommend using it for one month, which is the average time required for cell renewal. Reapply when discomfort reappears.

Is the Irritated and Sensitive Feet serum suitable for treating discomfort in the hallux valgus area?

The Irritated and Sensitive Feet serum works to relieve skin discomfort such as redness, itching and flaking. However, it does not treat bone pain such as that caused by hallux valgus. For this problem, we recommend our foot protectors PODERM® Hallux Valgus and Plantar Pain - Double Protection, or PODERM® Hallux Valgus - Arnica Gel Protection.
